Beef Fried Rice Recipe
There are days when I have a bunch of things in my fridge or freezer that I know I need to use. I hate for food to go bad. On these days I usually see if I can add the ingredients to create a fried rice or a stir fry recipe, which is what I did with this meal. It turned out to be really good.

This recipe was extremely flavorful and satiating. One of my favorite things to do is create bowls. I’m someone who loves to take a bunch of things throw them in a bowl, add a sauce and see if it tastes good together. The ingredients of this recipe came together really well.

Health Benefits
The thing that I like to do with my meals is make sure the ingredients are fairly healthy. One of the things that I’ve loved my whole life, but recently started adding back to my diet is beef. Grass-fed beef to be exact.
I’ve really struggled with red meat for the last 15 years of my life. I think it was a moral issue and also a health-based issue that had me torn. I experienced issues with constipation as a teenager, which is when I ate red meat the most. I thought my constipation was due to this and I’m not 100% sure it wasn’t but I am sure the sugar and grains added to that problem.
Lately, I’ve been reading up on the benefits of adding healthy meats and fats back into your diet and I will say that after eating mainly plant-based for a few years and then being mainly keto for the last few years of my life, adding grass-fed red meat and liver back into my diet has caused the most noticeable changes in the fatigue I’ve struggled with for years and also my acid reflux. So let’s discuss the health benefits of beef.
Grass-fed beef has around five times the amount of omega-3 fatty acids as grain-fed beef. It contains Selenium, Iron, Zinc, Vitamin B12 & B6. Compared to grain-fed beef grass-fed contains more antioxidants. It can also help to prevent sarcopenia, an age-related condition that causes loss of muscle mass from a deficiency in protein over time.
If you do decide to add red meat back into your diet make sure you’re using grass-fed products with a high percentage of healthy fats.

Beef Fried Rice
Ingredients
- 12 oz Cauliflower Rice
- 8 oz Grass Fed Ground Beef
- 8 0z Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- 1/2 Cup Scallions
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup Mushrooms
- 1/2 cup Diced Onions
- 2-3 cloves Garlic
- 3 tbsp Avocado Oil
- 3-5 tbsp Soy sauce or Tamari
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 tbsp Ginger Powder
Instructions
- Add your oil of choice to a large pan or wok over medium high heat. I used Avocado oil.
- Add in the onions and garlic. Wait for it to cook through. Add in the ground beef until cooked medium rare. Then add the cauliflower rice and cook on high until most of the moisture is out. Stirring consistently.
- Add in frozen mixed vegetables until thawed.
- Then add half of your soy sauce and any extra seasonings that you like.
- Try to create a funnel with your mixture leaving an empty space in the middle to add your raw egg. Cook as much of it in the middle of the pan and then mix it in with the rest of the mixture.
- Add any remaining seasonings including the honey and the ginger powder. When everything is cooked through and seasoned to your liking remove it from the heat. This can take anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes.
If you noticed, there is a sauce added to this beef fried rice recipe. This is one of my favorite sauces, jalapeno aioli sauce. If you would like to make this aioli check out my 3-minute recipe right HERE.
